Students create a Prototype!

Students have begun their lessons on BizTown! One of the lessons is about setting costs based on materials and supplies, time to produce the product, and consumer interest.

Students had limited supplies during this activity. The goal: work together as a team and create the best product you can in ten minutes.

Fall Fun!

Vocabulary Day 2018

Space Systems in Science

During science, students have been investigating the movements of the earth and the moon. What patterns are established?

 We documented the length of shadows throughout the day to see how the sun's apparent location in the sky correlates to the length of the shadow.

Learning about the 13 Colonies

Students have worked on the geographic, economic, and historical ideas from the 1600's-1770's. Students have researched a colonial region and presented their information to the class. 

First Time with our Buddy Class!

We were so excited to meet our buddy class! Students in our class are paired with a Kindergarten student in Mrs. Mariott's room. We loved meeting our special student.

     Each student made a dot and we posted them together in a similar fashion of the book The Dot by Peter Reynolds. "Make your Mark on the World".
