Landforms and Weather
Students were asked to list as many
Then, students were asked to think about
how a landform affects weather and climate
OR how the weather affects the landform.
Students hit the books!
We discovered that water and wind
greatly impacts landforms over time.
We also learned that weather patterns are

Shoreline Erosion Simulation
Supplies for investigation
Building the shoreline out of sand.
Using the water bottle to create waves.
One group built a shoreline out of gravel. Compare the differences! Which water would you choose to drink?
Students were asking great questions, recording observations, and connecting this investigation to their fourth grade unit on soil erosion. Thank you to our Science Coordinator for the supplies.
